Guess what? I still have a lot OSRS GP to do. Either way... simply the fact that there is bots upsets me since that's why that this happened. Leave a comment if you're upset by any of the punishments.. the fact that the entire bank was changed is the most traumatic!
SCENARIO - There are sudden changes taking place at Jagex headquarters. The activity levels are at a low, there is a lack of satisfaction in the players who are active, and there is a shortage of ideas for the staff. To bring the game back to its glory days on middle schools across the world, Jagex fires the current director of Runescape and chooses to recruit you for that position.
You are now in the top spot in a large multiplayer game and have gained more influence. However, there's an issue. What do you do now? If I were Runescape's head, I would acknowledge that Runescape is struggling and the genre is seriously in danger (see World of Warcraft).
However, one similar game is thriving and that is League of Legends. While I wouldn't duplicate League of Legends' approach, I would try to learn a few lessons learned from the game. The combat system would be improved. The combat system is currently fun for PvM and ineffective for PvP. Because PvM is nearly entirely members the majority of new players will never have a taste of PvM.
So I would recommend buy runescape 3 gold reforming the system a bit so it is suitable for PvP. The current combat system makes it extremely offensive and effective for PvP. Perhaps adding some defensive abilities and reducing the strength of attack abilities at least in the presence of players could be a step in the right direction. I would also listen to suggestions from players. Jagex has been at this for a long time, even if it's not at 100% efficiency.
